I do love a Pizza now and then as a Weekend Treat, especially when I’m not in the mood to spend a lot of time Cooking in the Evening. As I spend most of my time Cooking for The Hidden Veggie Kitchen customers, I like a break sometimes.
These Flatbread Pizzas couldn’t be simpler. A Tortilla Wrap makes the Base, add your chosen toppings and put under the Grill for about 5- 8 minutes. Keep an eye on it as the Base is very thin so can easily Brown too much! You want it Golden and Crispy. Enjoy!
These are some of my Favourite Topping Combos :
Put some Passata Sauce on the Tortilla Wrap, then grate some of your favourite Cheese over the top.I often use Gouda. Simple but so delicious!
Pesto & Goats Cheese
Spread some Green Pesto on the Tortilla Wrap, then add some Black Olives, thin Slices of Red Pepper & some Crumbled Soft Goats Cheese. Voila!
Veggies & a Balsamic Glaze
This is a super tasty Vegan option. In a Bowl mix 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil with 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar and a clove of garlic, minced. Brush on the Tortilla Wrap. Then add whatever Veggies you prefer. I usually go for Sliced Red Pepper,Red Onion, Finely Sliced Courgette,Black Olives and a pinch of Chilli Flakes.
