Overnight Oats

This has become my new Breakfast favourite. Love that you make it the night before so that when you’re wandering around the next morning, bleary eyed, there’s nothing to do but get a spoon and a bowl. Enjoy.

Servings: 1

30g oats
60g Greek yogurt
juice of 1 medium orange, freshly squeezed (about 65ml)
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp dried cranberries
1 tsp cocoa nibs

Place all the ingredients in a jar, place the lid on and give a good shake to combine.
Leave in the fridge to soak overnight.
In the morning, top with some strawberies and cocoa nibs and enjoy!

Once you get the ratios right, the combinations are endless!

Play around with combinations of :

– yogurt (animal or plant)
– milk (animal or plant) or fruit juice
-natural sweetener (honey, stevia, maple syrup, agave nectar…)
– fresh/dried fruit (banana, berries, cooked apple, coconut, raisins, blueberries…)
– nuts/nut butters (peanut, hazelnut, almonds flakes, peanut butter, tahini…)
– flavouring (vanilla bean, cocoa powder…)
